As electric vehicles (EVs) and plug-in hybrids become increasingly popular, charging has become an integral part of daily life. However-unlike fuel-powered vehicles-the location of the charging ports on new energy vehicles varies significantly. Some are situated within the front grille, others above the rear wheels, and some above the front wheels.

Typically, pure electric vehicles feature both a fast-charging port and a slow-charging port, and the placement of these two ports can also differ. Currently, the prevailing design places both ports within the front grille; however, on some vehicles, the charging port is located beneath the hood, while on others, it is positioned at the rear of the vehicle.
