Type 2 AC Charging Inlet

Our Type 2 Charging Inlet serves as a reliable AC charging interface for electric and hybrid vehicles, designed to meet the diverse requirements of civilian and commercial applications across regions adopting the Type 2 charging standard. It supports both single-phase and three-phase AC charging configurations, making it suitable for a wide range of onboard charger designs and regional charging infrastructures. Manufactured according to IEC 62196 and within an IATF 16949–certified quality management system, the Type 2 Charging Inlet meets the requirements of CE certification and is intended for vehicle-side integration in regulated automotive environments.

The AC inlet is built with high-conductivity T2 copper contacts formed through precise stamping, ensuring efficient current transfer, consistent contact quality, and stable electrical performance across repeated mating cycles. The design supports AC current ratings from 16 A up to 125 A, enabling flexibility for different vehicle power levels while remaining fully compatible with public and private AC charging networks commonly deployed across Europe, the United Kingdom, and other regions where the IEC 62196-2 Type 2 interface is adopted.
