CCS Type 1 Charging Inlet

The CCS Type 1 charging inlet is a vehicle-side combined AC and DC charging interface designed in accordance with IEC 62196-3. It integrates a Type 1 AC charging interface with dedicated DC high-voltage contacts, allowing electric vehicles to use a single inlet for both standard AC charging and DC fast charging.

The inlet supports single-phase AC charging based on the SAE J1772 Type 1 configuration and is compatible with Level 1 and Level 2 AC charging systems commonly used in North American and Japanese markets. In addition, the integrated DC terminals enable connection to public DC fast charging infrastructure, with electrical performance dependent on vehicle system design.

With a panel-mounted structure intended for vehicle integration, the CCS Type 1 charging inlet is suitable for passenger electric vehicles requiring access to both daily AC charging environments and higher-power DC charging scenarios in public and highway charging networks.
